Wilson Spin Control Gloves

In 2018, Wilson unleashed Spin Control technology to the glove world. This unique glove advancement was developed by Wilson with insights gathered from leather and aerodynamics experts. It exists in the form of thousands of dimples on the palm, fingers and web of select Wilson gloves. The dimples put extra friction on the baseball or softball as it is being caught and reduces the spin by up to 5%. That 5% decrease in spin could be a factor that exists in determining whether a catch is made. As well, the reduced spin should make it easier for a player to transfer a ball from their glove to their throwing hand in order to complete their next throw!
